NOVOVENT was founded in Barcelona, Spain, in 1988 and designs and manufactures industrial ventilation fans and smoke-and-heat exhaust fans for buildings, car parks and tunnels. In 2019 it joined FNP Group, home of Fenoplástica (since 1952).
It operates a 30,000 m² factory opened in 2010 and a laboratory for aerodynamic, electrical and acoustic testing, measuring noise to AMCA 300 for fans up to 1,600 mm. Its smoke fans are certified to EN 12101-3 by notified body 0370.
